Others have mentioned a lot of the big pluses of these bars, the smell, taste, how long they last... but it should be pointed out how great these are for traveling.
Everyone has had a shampoo bottle or something pop open in their luggage, well massage oil is no exception. Since these bars are solid there is no worry, also you can take them in your checked luggage without worry (at least as of when this was posted). If you do a lot of traveling with your loved one(s), one of these bars is a must have!

I use it on my Baby, as suggested by a Staff Member. She absolutely loves it. And my Fiance was never for massages.... not anymore.
It's also great for eczema....

Everything Megan said! These last long enough for a good massage (20 mins from the initial application is a fair guess) plus they dry quickly enough to let your partner roll over and drift off without worrying about a body-shaped oil stain on your sheets. Mango and mint flavours are particularly nice. Watch out for the mandarin chocolate one, though, as the chocolate side can leave a bit of a colour.

These things are great. They last longer than a lotion, long enough to give a really good massage, and they don't slop all over the place like a regular oil (or like regular oils do for clumsy people). They smell great and they make dry winter skin very happy.
