how to order
This page describes how to use our online store. If you're looking for an intro to the world of erotic books and toys or advice on choosing toys, check out "Where do I start?", our advice on how to choose sex toys, or our Frequently Asked Questions.
using the online store
Use the menu on the left to browse through our offerings by category. Check the new items link to see what offerings have been recently added to our inventory, the popular items link for the most-ordered toys, or search our extensive collection of customer and staff reviews for recommendations and comments.
Our stores carry more merchandise than we offer online, so please contact us if you don't see something you're interested in. We can almost certainly get it for you. We are also happy to accept phone orders as well as website orders. You can order by calling 1-877-370-9288 (toll free) or 902 422-0004 (Halifax area).
All our prices are in Canadian funds. American customers are given the opportunity to see the US$ equivalent in the shopping cart.
shopping cart
You will be asked to create a shopping cart the first time you pick something to buy. We need only your state or province of residence to set up the cart (to calculate shipping costs), but you can also choose to register as a member of the site by providing more shipping/contact and billing information (which we'll keep on file for your convenience). {» more about member and guest shopping}
Items can be added and removed from your shopping cart ("my cart") as you please. The cart totals are recalculated for you each time you display the cart, or when you choose "update cart" on the cart display. A summary of the contents of your cart is provided at the top of the right column of the screen display.
checkout
When you are ready to order, choose "check out" from the shopping cart summary or cart display; you will be asked for your credit card and shipping information (if you haven't registered as a member) and given the opportunity to complete the transaction. If you so desire, we will send you autmated emails that update you on the status of your order.
shipping
We ship all orders discreetly, in plain boxes and without identifying ourselves explicitly on the return address. Parcels are sent by expedited mail, which is quicker than regular parcel mail, or by overnight courier (for an additional fee). {» more about shipping}
returns
IIf your toy malfunctions in the first 30 days (some products have an extended warranty, check the item description) after purchase, simply send it back to us (in its original packaging) with the receipt; it will be replaced, and you will receive a credit towards your next purchase to help cover your shipping costs.
Note that every toy we send out is checked by our staff to make sure that you receive items in good working order. This means that we check all electronic toys before they leave the store. Be careful to make sure that your toy is in fact defective before you return it: returned toys found to be in good working order will be returned to you only at your own expense. {» more about returns and guarantees}
The University of Ottawa's Couple Research Lab is looking for participants for their online study on same-sex couple relationships! This study aims to better understand personal and relationship factors that contribute to well being and distress in same-sex couples.
To be eligible, you must be 18 years old or more, have a good knowledge of English and be in a same-sex couple relationship for at least 12 months. In order to thank you for your participation, you will be entered in a draw for gift certificates to a music store.
