DIVA CUP

The Diva Cup is a menstrual cup made of non-absorbent, easy-to-clean silicone. It is soft and comfortable for most people but can take a couple of periods to get totally used to. The cup works by collecting blood, rather than absorbing it so doesn't change the pH balance of the vagina. Can be worn while sleeping, and is great for people traveling who don't want to carry a lot of menstrual stuff with them. To clean, simply wash with hot soapy water, but the Diva Cup can also be boiled after or before your period for extra cleanliness. If removing in a public bathroom, simply dump contents into the toilet, wipe out with toilet paper, and re-insert.

Comes with a colourful drawstring bag.

I've had a Diva Cup for

I've had a Diva Cup for almost two years now, and I can say confidently that I am Never going back to pads/tampons. Ever. This is actually a life changer. I have a very heavy period. On my heaviest days I can bleed through the heaviest tampons in less than an hour, and was almost always bleeding through to my sheets at night. It was a university student nightmare. I was paranoid. How could I get my supplies out of my bookbag in a crowded room of friends working on assignments? I wouldn't go anywhere overnight with friends if my period might come... As other reviews have said, I must stress. IT'S LIKE YOU'RE NOT EVEN ON YOUR PERIOD. The absolute clincher for me was when my period came second last day of a backcountry camping trip this summer. Plans for that day: 4 hour swim/hike around perimeter of lake. Plans for next day: 5 km hike out to "civilization". Bathroom situation: outhouse, no running water. And sleeping in a sleeping bag, which is a lot harder to clean than sheets. Worst. Fears. Realized. And guess what was a non-issue? awww yeah. I am a believer. Do it. buy it. you will never go back

Best Investment Ever

I bought my Diva Cup from a lovely lady at Venus Envy and I will never use another method again. I was skeptical at first, but after the first day, I had so much confidence in the product I wore a khaki coloured skirt to work the next day with no fears. Its like you forget you're on your period at the time, because you're not dealing with a string or pad every time you pee (and boy do I pee a lot!) It's cleaner than a pad and the money you save is amazing! So much less waste produced! Writing this feels like I should be in a commercial or something, but I just love spreading the news about how fantastic theDiva Cup is. And no, I do not work for them. I am just a very happy woman with a happier vagina because of this!

I could never wear tampons, they would make me feel dry and uncomfortable. I got the cup and now I can go swimming everyday and still feel comfortable.

Diva cup review

I have had mine for five years and it is the best investment I have ever made! Durable, easy to clean, safe, and reliable I will never go back to traditional pads or tampons!

I love it! I was skeptical at first, but after being stuck in Ottawa at the store and having that girl thing happen I decided what the H and made the investment. That was over a year ago and I haven't looked back! Its so comfortable, never have to worry, much cleaner than pads or tampons.

Diva cup review

The Diva Cup is amazing. I was a bit skeptical at first because I find tampons uncomfortable, and it was a bit expensive for an investment I wasn't sure about. It took some getting used to, but now I wouldn't trade the cup for all the pads in the world.

Diva cup review

My research into the Diva Cup revealed far more advantages than disadvantages (i.e., environmentally friendly, economical savings, easy to clean, not 'messy', durable, can still go swimming with it in, etc.) so I purchased one at Venus Envy. Upon my first experiments with it, I was especially pleased to see no leaks whatsoever, particularly as I bleed heavily. Most of the time, I don't even 'feel' the Diva Cup. It's comfortable and well worth the price.

I highly recommend this impressive product!

Best investment ever. Once you snip the long end to a length you're comfortable with, you're good to go.
It is SO practical. You can empty it and reinsert it right away at public bathrooms, or rinse it out in the sink at home. No running around for pads or tampons, carry it in your purse and you're ready for everything! I cannot recommend this more. Cheaper, better for the environment, perfect for travelling!

Diva cup review

Some of my friends were using these and for the longest time I was CREEPED OUT. However, it is the most comfortable and convenient menstrual solution I have ever used. It is cheaper, healthier and better for the environment, but all those things aside I would still use it. I wish I had tried it sooner; I’ll never use anything else

Diva cup review

The Diva Cup is amazing!!!!!! It is so comfortable and you avoid putting harsh chemicals into your body!!! Added bonus no risk of the accidental leaks that you may have with tampons so you can wear as many khaki/white pants that you want....GO DIVA CUP! Common WOMYN lets support other Womyn!

Diva cup review

I really like the Diva cup. It did take a day or two of getting better at putting it in, but once I did I now feel so much better. it's 100% comfortable. honestly feels like I am not using anything at all. easy to clean especially if your someone with out a washer or dryer. (washable pads just aren't conveinent when you don't have either of said appliances) but I highly recommend it to any womyn that is considering

Diva cup review

I have used both the Keeper (for about 10 years) and the DIVA cup. I switched to the DIVA once my keeper had run it's course and I find the diva easier to clean and it has many of the same advantages as the keeper. One thing to consider is that the diva sits much lower in the vagina than the keeper which can become uncomfortable if you are not used to it. I find that if I positiong the "tail" of the cup so that it won't catch anything sensitive I'm fine. Both excellent products that I can't imagine bein
