Access intimacy - the experience of not having to explain your access needs further than "I need this", and people just getting it. Usually, this comes from shared experience, but when you are someone who hold intersecting identities, it can be hard to find access intimacy among the communities we have access to.

And during pride, it can be especially hard to feel understood. From inaccessible pride events and party cultures that don't seem to see us as people, let alone viable community members, pride is often not inclusive of the disabled experience.

Join Rachele for a facilitated discussion on access intimacy, and connect with other queer and disabled folks looking for the same. The hope is that through sharing space and discussing both our barriers and wins, we can find access intimacy within each other, and perhaps create community right here and now.

**This workshop is a closed space for disabled and chronically ill queer and trans folks. **
