Join us for an afternoon of learning with 3 amazing professionals! 
The first hour of this afternoon open house will include a 15 minute presentation from each professional: 
1) Dr. Chan - diagnosis and medical treatment for endometriosis 
2) Dr. Trevorrow - alternative treatments for endometriosis 
3) Laudina Ahiable - treating pelvic pain/dysfunction in endo patients via physiotherapy 
 
The second hour will be a mix of Q&A and endometriosis simulation via TENS machines. We have a sign-up/consent form for those who would like to try the TENS machine, please follow this link if you are interested.
Facilitator bios:
Dr. Keiko Chan is an Ottawa family physician who subspecializes in reproductive and sexual health. She works out of Restore Medical Clinics.
 
Laudina Ahiable is the Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist at TheraTouch Physiotherapy. She with a special interest in working with individual living with pelvic pain conditions including Vaginismus and Vulvodynia. 
Dr. Marianne Trevorrow, MA ND is the current Editor-in-Chief of the Canadian ND Association journal CANDJ and balances her time running the journal with a private practice in Centretown Ottawa that focuses on care for patients at menopause, with menstrual cycle disorders such as endometriosis and PCOS, as well as complex chronic disorders such as Chronic Fatigue/Fibromyalgia and Long-COVID. She practices with an evidence-based, lifestyle medicine focus and also supports patients in implementing plant-based eating for individual and planetary health. She is currently a member of the Menopause Society, Plant Based Canada, UK Plant Based Health Professionals, and affiliated with the Canadian Association of Physicians for the Environment.
