Liquid Silk

$14.95
Size

This creamy lube is light and long-lasting. A drop of silicone makes it extra slippery and luscious, while its water-base keeps it safe for silicone-toys. The best of both worlds!

Good stuff

Have used this for years. It’s very natural. Highly recommended.

Pump up the jam!

It has the best consistency out of the water-based lubes I’ve tried, and it’s in a simple-to-use pump. What more could I want! I’ve never understood why so many lubes aren’t in pumps... I can never open those other ones if I already have slippery fingers, haha.

Not complitely true ...

Yes, Liquid Silk contains BNPD, since it's a widely used anti microbial agent soluble in water. BNDP is not toxic by itself. Now, when BNPD decomposes under certain conditions of alkalinity and temperature, it produces nitrosamines (nitrates and formaldehyde that interact with aminoacids). Nitrosamines are known carcinogens. BNDP was widely used in the 80's for cosmetics, but it's use has declined. Where and how did you get the figure of BNDP concentration on the product? Neither the manufacturer or the webistes list it. Niether I found BNDP in the banned product database for Health Canada.

Very Toxic

Like everyone else here, I used liquid silk and loved it. That is, until I researched it's ingredients and discovered that what they call BNPD, is actually 2-BROMO-2-NITROPROPANE-1,3-DIOL and is incredibly toxic. It is so bad it's actually banned by Health Canada in amounts of over .1% which liquid silk exceeds! I don't know how this product is actually imported into this country, it's illegal to do so. Liquid silk is one of the most toxic lubes on the market and should not be sold anywhere, ever.

Liquid Silk review

This is my favourite water-based lube, hands down. A little goes a long way and it doesn't get tacky like other water-based lubes. Great for anal play, not great for oral—tastes a bit bitter. Overall, a very good lube.
