How It Works

Test out this Wartenburg wheel on yourself before using it on a partner, so you get a sense of how much pressure to apply while you roll the wheel along their skin. A lighter touch creates a subtle tickle; with more pressure, the toy can become painful.

Don’t press so hard as to break skin – but if you do so accidentally, clean the area immediately with an antiseptic, like rubbing alcohol.

Soaking the toy in cold water for a few minutes before using it can create the sensory illusion that it is sharper (and scarier!) than it actually is.
