Charlie Lowthian Rickert is a high school student, avid gamer, sneaker collector and gender-equity educator. Winner of the Joan Gullen Community Service Award when she was eight years old (2014), and a Femmy Award at age ten (2016), she was chosen as the youngest grand marshal of Ottawa Capital Pride for her efforts to educate about gender diversity in children. Today, Charlie hosts workshops across the country to foster inclusive classrooms and spaces, focusing on suicide prevention and youth mental health. You can reach Charlie at www.charliecanada.com.
