How It Works

TransTape is intended for multi-day use and can be worn for 2-4 days on average, depending on your level of activity and how often you are showering. Because tape applied as directed does not compress the body or lungs it does not restrict breathing and it is safe to sleep in. 

TransTape is made from a blend of 95% cotton and 5% spandex with a latex-free medical grade adhesive. There is no set guideline on how long to wear, some users only wear it for a day or two and some can wear it for up to a week. To remove TransTape it is recommended to saturate it with oil, please read the full how-to manual before first use.

Rolls are 16.5ft in length and can last for 1-3 months depending on activity level, chest size and how often you need to change your tape. With average use a roll will typically last 1-2 months

Due to supplier variance, our stock may contain different adhesives. It is recommended to always do a test strip before application. To test if you're skin has an allergy, apply a 2-inch strip to the area where you'll be using TransTape - usually under your arms or on your chest. Monitor the area for any itching or signs of reaction for 24 to 48 hours, remove with oil.

Nipples should be covered before aplication of tape. Ten nipple covers are included with each roll, additional covers can be made from TransTape or Bandaids.

TransTape should never be fully wrapped around the torso, please refer to application video and instructions. Please read all instructions before application or contact us for more information. TransTape should not be used on broken or open skin. 

Removal can be tricky! Never pull tape from the skin without oil. The longer you wear the tape the stringer the bond is, please follow these instructions on how to remove tape safely with oil.
