How It Works
The Diva Disc works by covering the cervical opening and collecting blood, rather than absorbing it like tampons, so it doesn't cause dryness or affect vaginal pH.
The Diva Disc has a few fetaures that stand out from other menstrual discs:
Integrated pull-tab makes it easy to remove the disc!
Oval-shaped design (rather than round) prevents rotation while wearing, making it easy to find the pull-tab every time.
Patent-pending Leakproof Shield™ prevents mid-wear leaks and messy removal. The Sheild works with the disc's sloped basin to keep period blood from leaking—including unexpected leaks during bathroom use or exercise.
One size fits most - it folds to the size of a tampon
Soft, flexible rim delivers ultimate comfort
Holds 7 regular tampons of flow (36mL capacity)
Safe for up to 12 hours of continuous wear
Made of 100% medical grade silicone and pigments
Mess-free period sex

Care Instructions
To clean, simply wash with hot soapy water. The Diva Disc can also be boiled after or before your period for extra cleanliness. If removing in a public bathroom, simply dump contents into the toilet, wipe out with toilet paper, and re-insert. Store in the included bag.
The lifespan of your menstrual disc may vary, depending on vaginal pH, how often and how well the disc is cleansed, what cleansing agents are used, etc. The manufacturer's suggestion is that a Diva Disc can last up to 5 years, but it is ultimately up to the consumer to decide when to replace their cup. Please note that discolouration of the Diva Disc is normal.

Insertion and removal of menstrual cups and discs take some practice!
Insertion: The Diva Disc folds up to the size of a tampon, making it easy to insert and remove. Once it’s positioned around the cervix, push the front rim of the disc up behind your pubic bone so it stays in place. When positioned correctly, you won’t feel it at all, and it’s safe to wear for up to 12 hours.
Removal: The Diva Disc comes with a built in pull-tab for easy removal, and the unique oval-shape prevents rotation during wear, keeping the anti-slip pull-tab in place for an easy removal process. Start by taking a few deep breaths and relaxing your pelvic muscles to bring your cervix closer to the vaginal opening. Hook your finger onto the pull-tab to untuck the disc from the pubic bone. Gently slide the disc out, keeping it horizontal to avoid spills. Empty the contents into the toilet. Cleanse and re-insert.
