The Fun Cup is a reusable menstrual cup made of high-quality, easy to clean silicone. It's soft and comfortable, and you can wear it for up to 12 hours at a time. Holds 4x as much liquid as a regular tampon, so you won't need to change it nearly as often!

We love the Fun Cup because it's eco-friendly, gender-neutral and easy to travel with.

How It Works

This cup works by collecting blood rather than absorbing it. Once the cup is full, just dump out the contents, rinse it off and put it back in.

Size A is a shorter cup made with a firmer silicone, while Size B is a longer cup made with softer silicone. Both have a slightly slanted top, and are designed for comfort.

Sizing: According to the manufacturers, Size A is best suited for lighter days, for those who haven't given birth vaginally or for those who are under 30. Size B is best suited for heavier flows, those who have given birth vaginally, or who are older than 30.

As far as we can tell, whether or not someone has delivered vaginally is a pretty good marker of which size they might need, while 30 is a mostly arbitrary age cut-off. As always, you know your body best.

The Explore Kit has one Size A Cup and one Size B Cup, so it's an excellent option if you're not sure which cup is for you.

Staff Reviews

I LOVE the Fun Cup! I gave up on my Diva Cup years ago because it was annoying to scrub and kept giving me yeast infections. But the FunCup is nicer, stain-resistant, and feels like a better quality silicone. I really like the Explore Kit Option, since it let me try both sizes.
The A was either the wrong size or too firm for my body -  no matter how many adjustments I made, it sat right against my bladder and I felt a constant need to pee. Luckily, Size B is a softer silicone so I didn't have that issue with it.

Who it might be great for: So many people! It's not gendered like other cups, which is great. The top is slanted, so it might be a better option for people with a tilted uterus who've found cups that are straight at the top to be extra painful - especially the Size A which is fairly short (but it would definitely vary from person to person!). The B Cup is much softer than other cups, so it's much easier to use one-handed.
Who it might not work for: Like all menstrual cups, it might not be great for someone who has an IUD, especially if it's been recently put in.

Finally

So... my vagina does not feel how an anatomical diagram works. I can touch my cervix with two knuckles of insertion (one some days). It's also quite tilted. Diva cup: excruciatingly painful. Nixit: Gigantic, not exactly painful, but often uncomfortable, but tends to expel with bearing down (i.e. pooping). I've read a gazillion comparison articles trying to figure out a reusable cup or disc solution that would work for me (god I miss Instead) and none of them seemed super promising based on my other experiences. I came across this one at random, I hadn't seen reviews before, but the shape seemed promising.

I went with B - I would have gone for the smaller size but based on my experience with other products I figured I needed the softer cup. It's not perfect - it is a little too big, sometimes puts a little pressure on the bladder (not uncomfortable exactly but sometimes noticeable) and occasionally protrudes slightly - but:
1) It doesn't fall out
2) It doesn't hurt, even when protruding. It's not even uncomfortable, except occasionally on removal if I'm not pinching it closed. The rounded tip and tilted opening are awesome.
3) It works with my nuvaring.
4) Not sure if other products have this but it has tiny holes near the rim which I assume assist in breaking suction and little textured spots near the tip which aren't uncomfortable but provide extra security in gripping the end for removal.

Cute and comfortable cup

I've always liked the idea of a menstrual cup, but felt more and more uncomfortable wearing a stained Diva Cup that was too big for me...to the point where it would cause me pain due to it protruding.
After only one week of use, I can say that I much prefer this menstrual cup. The silicone is a lot smoother and the tip is rounded to avoid any outer discomfort. The colors are fun and cute too, which somehow makes having your period a little bit better.
The smallest size is better for me at this point, but I did choose the pack that combines both sizes in the event my body's needs change. I did not know that it came as a set until I got to the store. It was a nice surprise and the staff was really helpful helping me with the decision making process.
I highly recommend this product. One tricky bit I would like to mention is that inserting the cup is less intuitive than a Diva Cup. It doesn't quite "pop" into shape the same way. With that being said, it's very secure and I haven't had any leakage.

Happy period! Thanks Venus Envy!

Love it!

It fits great and I find it much more comfortable than the Diva Cup I was using. I would highly, highly, highly recommend the fun cup!

Finally!!!

11 months ago I had a baby (vaginal delivery) and my period returned 8 WEEKS(!!?) later. I used cloth and disposable pads for my first few cycles & eventually mustered the courage to attempt to take my old friend Diva Cup for a spin in my newly travelled life portal...what a totally unsuccessful, strange and awkward reunion. I took two steps out of the bathroom before turning around to take it out because felt like it was hanging down to my knees (sorry/not sorry for the visual). I continued to use pads and eventually tampons and eventually, eventually, probably around 8 mnths postpartum, returned to the somewhat more comfortable but still uncomfortable Diva Cup because I hated the idea of spending more money on disposable period products that weren't that good for me anyway. Somewhere along this journey I learned about the Fun Cup and it looked so dazzling and sexy compared to other cups on the market, and sounded so much more comfortable. I had a hard time finding one in Canada, so as soon as I saw the size B available at Venus Envy I ordered it and had it shipped to my home in Toronto. It arrived in less than 24 hours (holy smokes!) in the most adorable polka dot gift wrap. Way to make a bleedin' gal feel special! I've been wearing one (it comes with 2) during my current cycle and it is so comfortable I can't even feel it and it definitely doesn't hang to my knees. It was intuitive to insert/remove and clean. The packaging was informative w/out feeling medical/sterile.
