Bio: Agnes

Agnes (they/them | iel/il) is a Black nonbinary queer human who has been teaching and getting nerdy about sexuality, sexual health, and gender since 2012. Agnes has had the honour of conducting trainings with community and professional organisations, teaching at national and international conferences, and performing at events in Ontario and Québec. They are particularly passionate about the complexities of interpersonal relationships, pleasure focused comprehensive sex ed, BDSM, and building diverse, equitable alternative scenes. In addition to leading workshops on subjects ranging from safe(r) sex to ethical nonmonogamy, Agnes occasionally organizes small community events. They approach teaching with an ethos of curiosity and collaboration, believing that everyone has experiences and information worth sharing with others.
