Hurt So Good: Kink, Chronic Pain and Disability

Chronic pain can be a tricky and tough experience to navigate, and it can often feel like pleasure is not possible. But pain and pleasure are not mutually exclusive, rather, they are deeply connected, and something we can play with. In this workshop we’ll discuss the science of pain, connecting painful and pleasurable experiences, and explore kink from a disability perspective. All are welcome, but topics prioritize people with lived experience of chronic pain and disability.

This workshop is a hybrid event: in-person at Venus Envy and online via Zoom. Registration closes 3 hours before the event. Zoom codes will be emailed the day of the workshop, please check your spam folder!
