Strap-On Essentials
In this week's newsletter, we're gonna dive into all things strap-on! If you've ever wondered how to build a strap, from choosing a harness to customizing your setup, you're in the right place.
First, choose a harness
When choosing a harness, you’ll want to consider style, material, care, and adjustability.

When considering material, think about what kind of care you’re willing to provide to your harness. Do you want something you can just throw in the washing machine? A fabric harness may be a good choice. Do you want a sleek and stylish harness that will eventually be broken in to feel like a second skin, and are you okay with putting more time into caring for the material? Leather might be the material for you!
Now for the dildo
Dildos come in ALL shapes and sizes, from super realistic dual-density with skin-tone options, to monster and alien-inspired dildos in every colour of the rainbow.
When selecting a size, keep in mind that when dildos are harnessed, you lose about 0.5-1 inch of insertable length. Other than that, follow your heart! The dildo-shelf/world is your oyster! It's a great idea to shop for dildos in person if you can, at a store like ours that has demos out to compare and squeeze. If you're shopping online, grab a ruler or measuring tape and check the specifications section to make sure you know what you're getting yourself into.
Add ons and extras!
Now you get to customize your setup! The possibilities are endless.
Many harnesses allow you to swap out the o-ring to better accommodate the dildo size, which can help with control. You can add vibration to your strap by placing a flat vibrator at the base of your dildo. You can even add a vibrating c-ring to your dildo!
