Let’s be honest: if we waited until our mental health was in perfect shape, some of us would never get to explore kink. This workshop is for the humans who want to learn to navigate their kinks and stay connected while knowing that they’re sure to accidentally trip over old trauma wounds. We’ll share practical tools—not therapy advice—from our perspective as kinksters with CPTSD. Neither of us is perfect, or claim to be “healed”, but we’ve learned how to improve how we navigate our triggers, stay grounded as much as possible, minimize our spirals, and recover when those trip ups happen. Expect real talk about navigating your needs and improving your communication so that you can enjoy kink while you work on your own healing. This isn’t a therapy session (we are NOT therapists)—it’s peer to peer learning to allow you to kink with more awareness and fewer landmines.
